SGI
streamlines accident reporting
Getting into an accident is always an inconvenience, but
soon the process for reporting an accident will be simplified.
Child
restraint clinics in full swing
The best way to protect your child in the event of a collision
or sudden stop while driving is to use a child safety seat. Its important
that you choose an appropriate seat for your childs age and weight, and
also that you install it correctly.
Towing
and trailer safety
Summer is the season for travellers to be towing everything
from small fishing boats to large fifth-wheel trailers. The last thing these
travellers want is to be involved in an accident because they had the wrong
tow vehicle or trailer hitch.
Tips
for safe holiday travel
As summer holiday season arrives in Saskatchewan, the number
of people travelling on provincial highways drastically increases. To ensure
a safe trip while vacationing this year, motorists need to be prepared and
stay alert.
Revisions
made to the rules of the road
Recent amendments to The Highway Traffic Act clarify
the rules of the road regarding the use of emergency hazard lights, amber flashing
lights and the placement of video, television or computer screens in a vehicle.
