Too many people continue to be injured and die on Saskatchewan roads as a result of traffic accidents. SGI continues to focus its efforts and partnerships on improving road safety.
2007 casualty collision statistics along with the
complete 2006 Traffic Accident Information System (TAIS) report
have been released by SGI.
TAIS is a computer-based system that compiles information on traffic
collisions occurring on Saskatchewan highways. This information
is captured from traffic collisions reporting by Saskatchewan police
agencies and SGI claims.
